COMPANY ANNIVERSARY
In September 2018, Höfer & Karpf celebrated its 20th anniversary.
FROM BÄRNBACH TO ABU DHABI
In March 2017, another container left our workshop to begin its journey to Abu Dhabi. With a total weight of 8 metric tons, a length of 9.5 meters, and a width of 3.5 meters, this container posed quite a challenge in terms of transportation.
OFF TO GERMANY
In early November 2016, several columns and pressure vessels were delivered to Germany as part of a large-scale project. The entire project involved the design, manufacture, and delivery of seven vessels within a very short lead time.
“THE COLOSSUS”
Shortly before Christmas 2012, the company delivered the heaviest heat exchanger in its history to date. Weighing approximately 9 metric tons each, the units were shipped to Le Havre, France. In total, two identical heat exchangers weighing 9 metric tons each, one heat exchanger weighing 2.2 metric tons, and another heat exchanger weighing 1.2 metric tons were delivered to the customer in France.
PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER DELIVERED AND INSTALLED
In April 2010, Höfer & Karpf delivered a plate heat exchanger and an air preheater to Upper Styria. The heat exchanger and the “LUVO” were also installed by Höfer & Karpf.
HIGH-PRESSURE VALVES DELIVERED TO EGYPT
In November 2009, Höfer & Karpf delivered eight high-pressure valves to Egypt. The valves are pressure-rated up to 500 bar and temperature-rated up to 400°C.
MEGA CONTAINER FROM HÖFER & KARPF SET OFF ON A SPECIAL TRANSPORT JOURNEY
In September 2008, the largest container ever manufactured by Höfer & Karpf left the Voitsberg district bound for Southern Styria. With a total weight of an impressive 4.6 metric tons, a length of 10 meters, and a width of 3.7 meters, this “workpiece” was not, however, the heaviest ever produced by the company.
22,000-LITER OIL TANK SHIPPED TO LINZ
In August 2007, an oil tank with a capacity of 22,000 liters was shipped to Linz.
